Ann Ulrich - Children’s Ministry
Ann knows that childhood is the time in a person’s life when they are most open to learning what it means to trust God. Children are impressionable, and what is rooted in the heart of a child is almost impossible to uproot in the life of an adult. She believes that the goal of the children’s ministry at EFA is to equip every child with a solid biblical foundation, while caring for them in a fun, loving and enriched environment.
Ann’s keen sensibility with children comes from 25 years of raising her own four children along with 15 years of experience as an involved parent volunteer and tireless advocate for children. Whether she was helping in a classroom, president of a PTA, acting as secretary on the board of directors for the Elsinore High School Tiger Foundation, or advising on the Lake Elsinore Unified School District Parent Advisory committee, Ann has always been passionate about the well being of all children; at home, in the schools, at church and in her community.
After graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Business and Public Administration, Ann got busy “climbing the corporate ladder” and found her specialty in project management: twice creating new divisions for the large companies she worked for. After the birth of her first child, Ann changed careers to start a more important job: stay-at-home mom. Within 7 years Ann, and her husband John, had 4 children and they moved their young family from Plano, Texas to Rancho Cucamonga, California in 2002. Shortly after, the Ulrich family moved to Lake Elsinore to be closer to EFA. They have lived in Lake Elsinore and served at the church ever since. Ann expanded her church leadership role and joined the church staff as the Director of Children’s Ministries in 2017.
